iPad 3 to be unveiled
in March – report
The most-awaited release of
Apple’s iPad 3 is getting nearer. All Things D reports Thursday that the iPad 3
will be unveiled at a press event in San Francisco next month.
Apple unveiled the iPad 2 on
March 2, 2011, so it’s quiet possible for the company to release the third
generation of its successful tablet computer exactly a year after, on a
significant day that is March 3, 2012.
It will probably take a week or
two for the actual device to be displayed in store shelves in the United States
and several more weeks to be massively released to the global market.
So far, only a few details have
floated. Reports say that iPad 3 will be similar to the iPad 2 in as far as
design is concerned. However, the new iPad is rumored to sport a faster
processor, improved graphics and a 2048 x 1536 Retina display as well.
