TAGAYTAY GETAWAY MISSION CLIMB

As youth volunteers, we spend time educating children & community people on the prevention of epidemic in communities, visit schools in geographically isolated areas to talk to school children about hygiene & nutrition. We also assist with local workshops; participate in medical missions, health & environmental awareness program and support sessions as well as programs that aimed to alleviate poverty and promote economic sustainability to indigent families. A This Fight4Five project is a mobile outreach programme delivering school/home based health care, educational drive, peer education, social & cultural activities and environmental awareness services. Bulalacao Island Visit & Gift-giving

We were extremely happy with this Island visit and gift-giving activity. Clearwater beach, pristine white sand beaches, warm sunshine and it was one very special day visiting island villagers and sharing our blessings through small gifts and foods. There's also such a wonderful thing in giving, putting some love or a smile on a child, or a parent's house. Thank you Toni & Jon and the rest of "Keep Hope Alive" volunteers. #‎KHA

KHA OUTREACH CLIMB & F4F Project Launch

FIGHT FOR FIVE (F4F) : A Keep Hope Alive Youth Volunteers' mobile outreach programme delivering school/home based health care, educational drive, peer education, social & cultural activities and environmental awareness services as well as programs that aimed to alleviate poverty and promote economic sustainability to indigent families. The need for mobile outreach services was, and continues to be critical since most families in Mangyan Communities live in very rural, isolated settings.

The Ideas Library

Successful launching of "Keep Hope Alive" Community Library Project (The Ideas Library) with Acypl American Mentor Toni Panetta. We started this project together with youth volunteers and donors to improve literacy, increase access to quality education for all ages, and self-empowerment. We are working together with partner organizations in the community, Barangay officials, Phil. Army, volunteers, School staff, 4P's and Non-Governmental Organizations. We realized that the simple act of establishing libraries with gently used books would have a profound effect in increasing literacy, and we will work closely with local teachers and community leaders to sustain this project.
