School Electrification Program

This School Electrification Program has been helping communities and students in far-flung areas in the Philippines through the use of renewable energy-powered multimedia technology; both teachers and students experience better teaching and learning conditions. Luckily, Mansalay got 4 out of 6 solar projects in Mindoro Provinces (Anahaw, Sinariri, Kilapnet & Salay Elem. School). Over 67,546 students in over 200 rural schools all over the Philippines have been given access to this multimedia- based distance education powered by renewable energy program (Solar Power) of AMORE with help from program partners such as WinRock International, ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. – E-Media Program, Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Inc., Intel Microelectronics (Phils.), Inc., International Copper Association, Southeast Asia, Ltd., Malampaya Foundation, Inc., National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, Rotary Clubs (Davao & Dipolog) & San Miguel Corporation (Phase 3).

Bayanihan Bloodletting Activity

4th Infantry Battalion of Philippine Army showed its bayanihan spirit through the recently held Blood Letting Activity organized by OMBC (Oriental Mindoro Blood Council) under the office of Vice Governor Bonz Dolor with the help of Mansalay RHU with its slogan "Dugo mo, Buhay ko".
