This School Electrification Program has been helping communities and students in far-flung areas in the Philippines through the use of renewable energy-powered multimedia technology; both teachers and students experience better teaching and learning conditions. Luckily, Mansalay got 4 out of 6 solar projects in Mindoro Provinces (Anahaw, Sinariri, Kilapnet & Salay Elem. School). Over 67,546 students in over 200 rural schools all over the Philippines have been given access to this multimedia- based distance education powered by renewable energy program (Solar Power) of AMORE with help from program partners such as WinRock International, ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. – E-Media Program, Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Inc., Intel Microelectronics (Phils.), Inc., International Copper Association, Southeast Asia, Ltd., Malampaya Foundation, Inc., National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, Rotary Clubs (Davao & Dipolog) & San Miguel Corporation (Phase 3).
