Keep Hope Alive handed out packs of school supplies, toys,
garments and basic medical services to children & families from low-income
families in these two remote Elementary Schools in Mansalay for our
Balik-Eskwela Caravan 2015. The program is supported by a number of donors and
partners including generous sponsors & volunteers who donated supplies.
Appreciating our KHA youth volunteers as well who mobilized for the task of
packing and distributing the kits for the children despite the extreme hot
weather. Thank you guys! God bless you more. Thanks Sir Edwin & all youth
volunteers for your generosity and giving to a great cause. Students who could
otherwise not afford such supplies will now have those items for their use this
school year. Thank you for caring about the needs of others. #KeepHopeAlive #BalikEskwelaCaravan2015

Day Care Workers Month
Celebrated Provincial Day Care Workers Month with dedicated
& hardworking DCWs of Mansalay & Oriental Mindoro. This event was
organized by PGOM & PSWD with a theme "Sa tapat, mahusay at magiliw na
paglilingkod, kakayahan at kagalingan ng mga bata ay sigurado".
Day care workers do a lot of work for our kids with
generally low compensation. Hats off to our #everydayheroes
OUTREACH CLIMB & F4F Project
The need for mobile outreach services was, and continues to
be critical since most families in Mangyan Communities live in very rural,
isolated and underserved settings. Fight4Five is a mobile outreach programme
delivering school/home based health care, educational drive, peer education,
social & cultural activities and environmental awareness services as well
as programs that aimed to alleviate poverty and promote economic sustainability
to indigent families. As Keep Hope Alive volunteers, young advocates spend time
educating community people on the prevention of epidemic in communities, visit
schools in geographically isolated areas to talk to school children about
hygiene & nutrition. They also assist with local workshops; participate in
medical missions, health & environmental awareness program and support
sessions. #KeepHopeAlive #Fight4Five
