The need for mobile outreach services was, and continues to
be critical since most families in Mangyan Communities live in very rural,
isolated and underserved settings. Fight4Five is a mobile outreach programme
delivering school/home based health care, educational drive, peer education,
social & cultural activities and environmental awareness services as well
as programs that aimed to alleviate poverty and promote economic sustainability
to indigent families. As Keep Hope Alive volunteers, young advocates spend time
educating community people on the prevention of epidemic in communities, visit
schools in geographically isolated areas to talk to school children about
hygiene & nutrition. They also assist with local workshops; participate in
medical missions, health & environmental awareness program and support
sessions. #KeepHopeAlive #Fight4Five

Reaching out and helping other people even in simplest ways
we know give them the hope they need to survive in this kind of living.
Thank you Doc Jojo Leviste & your dedicated MHSO/RHU
team for a successful medical mission, med cap & outreach program to more
than 600 people of Sinariri Mangyan Community.
To all Keep Hope Alive volunteers who perspired and climbed
with us, thank you for living up God's compassion of reaching out the needy and
serve others selflessly. #FightforFive #KHAyouthvolunteers

Bulalacao Island Visit & Gift-giving
We were extremely happy with this Island visit and
gift-giving activity. Clearwater beach, pristine white sand beaches, warm
sunshine and it was one very special day visiting island villagers and sharing
our blessings through small gifts and foods. There's also such a wonderful
thing in giving, putting some love or a smile on a child, or a parent's house.
Thank you Toni & Jon and the rest of "Keep Hope Alive"
volunteers. #KHA

Lukban Outreach Climb 2014
As always, Lukban Outreach Climb wouldn't have happened
without you, our amazing Keep Hope Alive youth volunteers & sponsors -
thank you so so much!
Whether you know it or not, you are one of the reasons why
someone never quit. Worth it ang pagod at sakit ng katawan sa 9 hours na
paglalakad sa ilog, gubat at pag-akyat sa matatarik bundok para marating ang
pinakamalayong paaralan ng Mansalay. God bless you more!
Be an inspiration & a blessing, always. #KHALukban -at

Health Check-ups & Free Medicines (Outreach Program)
Many thanks to Unilab, Pharex & Natpharma for donating
boxes of medicines and to our outreach partner, Bukluran Outdoor Club & KHA
volunteers who spent 3 days in the mountain to provide basic medical &
nursing care, health education and other valuable services to the people in
Cabuyao & Kilapnit Mangyan communities.
A special thanks to Sir Greg & Nurse Myra for their outstanding
commitment as well as to Bahay Kubo Foundation. Volunteers give of their time
and money to walk and travel great distances to deliver assistance to people
who have no other access to basic health care. On behalf of my constituents
touched by this fabulous team of volunteers, we say Thank You!

I can’t even begin to write about
all the different experiences I had, people I met, and how much this mission
climb changed my life and my perspective on things; living in an urbanized area
you really take for granted necessities like clean water, food, medicine, and
even electricity.

The team transformed a local school into a triage unit, clinic, and pharmacy over the course of 2 days and saw over 200 patients.

SANDUGO sandals for Mangyan Villagers & Volunteer Teachers
It won’t cost much to give the flip flops but it will make a big difference to the lives of many Mangyan volunteer teachers, sitio leaders and villagers. We take those simple footwears for granted but they are very valuable in making life a bit more comfortable for those people! I would like to give a huge thank you to all those who volunteered to help out. We received 150 pairs of sandals from Sandugo Sandals. Big thanks Sir Greg Galicia, Myra and company. You are all amazing, thanks for the support!
Many pupils and volunteer teachers go to school barefoot
because they are unable to buy something that can cost as little as $1 to $3
dollars a pair! The cost of a cup of coffee is even higher!
You might have some friends and relatives in the Philippines
who can help promote this project. Please let them know. What are you waiting
for? Go raid your shoe cupboard and donate your unwanted flip flops now!
